iN Education’s Battle of the Teal program is made possible in part by state tax dollars allocated by the Ohio Legislature to the Ohio Arts Council (OAC). The OAC is a state agency that funds and supports quality arts experiences to strengthen Ohio communities culturally, educationally, and economically.

GLASS FUSION CREATIONS

Glass fusion is a process of firing glass to a  low temperature in the kiln so the glass pieces are permanently bonded. It sounds complicated, but it’s actually very easy! Using small pieces of glass called “chips” and “frit”, create your one of a kind design! We will fire your glass piece into your choice of finished products: A hanging suncatcher, a flat tile, or we can slump your glass into a plate or bowl.

POTTERY CREATIONS

Beginning Throwing  – Learn the basics of throwing on the potters wheel, using one pound of clay, students will get step-by-step instruction from an accomplished ceramic artist, and will get to make and glaze their own piece of pottery.

Send us a note about your favorite pottery or glass fusion piece!

Both of us got lost in the moment and didn't notice the time flying by. This was an unforgettable experience that we're going to look back and smile about,
