Our mission is to ignite clarity, build unshakable confidence, unlock potential, and cultivate real-world leadership skills so every young person can plan—and achieve—a brighter future.

More Than Two Decades of Community Impact
In 2006, DeAndre’ Nixon, a Navy wartime veteran, founded iN Education. Driven by his passion for education and belief in the transformative power of self-knowledge, he launched a series of Career Technical programs. Growing up in Akron, Ohio, DeAndre’ saw first-hand the challenges faced by students from diverse backgrounds. He set out to create opportunities for young people to go on their journey of self-discovery.

The program curriculum (est. 2006) is designed to assist K-12 students in identifying their interests and personality traits. Our four-step process provides tools to explore various career paths and pathways. It helps develop strategies to create a career outline. Students will gain essential hard and soft skills in leadership, management, teamwork strategies, and competitiveness.
Since 2014, iN Education and its team of writers, editors, and graphic designers have created content covering education-related topics for the Zealousness online magazine and blog. To date, we have published 22 issues of Zealousness and have written over 400 articles. Our online blog averages over 450,000 impressions monthly.
Established in 2016, iN Education’s Battle of the Teal art program builds a platform for visual and performing artists to express, engage, and connect. Embarking on our 10th program season, we are excited for all K-12 students, and other art enthusiasts, to have the opportunity to participate in an array of activities, panel forums, and showcases.
iN Education’s Learn U (est. 2021) is a platform where students, educators, and community leaders can request life coaching services. We take preventative measures in addressing students’ social-emotional wellness. They can select one of our certified coaches to work within various areas of interest: mindfulness, goal setting, transformation, and life purpose.
