If you are a K-12 student from Ohio, be sure to apply for the upcoming 2022 Spring-Summer Battle of the Teal juried art showcase. This opportunity is an easy route to an incredible experience in visual and performing arts for students attending public, private, or charter schools and those who are homeschooled.
IN EDUCATION INC. created its Battle of the Teal art program to serve as an outlet for youth to use their artistic expressions to engage and connect with the community and their peers. Art is a great way to channel emotions and improve social-emotional wellness. Plus, creativity is sought after by today’s employers.

The Battle of the Teal’s Impact
IN EDUCATION’s Battle of the Teal is in its eighth season! Since our first showcase hosted in 2016, we were able to impact over 10,000 artists across seven Ohio counties. Over the years, 50 active artists and art professionals who joined the adjudication panel provided portfolio feedback for all showcase participants. Besides fun family activities, workshops, and other art-related events, our team raised over $33,000 in showcase awards, scholarships, and prizes for showcase winners and participants. It remains a free service [showcase] for K-12 students across Ohio!
