Dinma Uzuegbu turned 10 years old in 2026. She’s a young singer and a wanna-be future ear, nose and throat (ENT) doctor. She has excelled in winning Season 9 of Battle of the Teal, and she also won a scholarship in Season 11.
At a young age, Dinma found a passion for singing just by saying the most random words you can ever imagine. Songs like Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star popped into her head as a baby. She loved singing and dancing around the house, which was enough to get her eight years in time and to win a season in Battle of the Teal!
Dinma’s winning song, Love Your Children by Terrian, explains that your children should learn to be good and not become messed up as they grow. Parents should know that their children feel pain and need someone to love them more than they love themselves.
Her biggest interests are Terrian (a Christian contemporary singer), Anike (a Christian rapper), and KB (also a Christian rapper), and Dejah Hector (Dance influencer). Her absolute role model is Terrian. She’s been to her concerts and has seen how much she loves her music. Terrian sang songs like Walking with My God and Testimony. Those two songs (and more) inspired her to do more and sing with passion. She hopes to meet Terrian and sing with her someday, and reach her life goals.
With Dinma’s Nigerian origins, her family is full of doctors and nurses, and she explains, “I would love to work with kids as an ENT doctor, because we all know that the ears, nose, and throat are the most annoying parts during a flu or cold!” As she said, Dinma loves working with kids, especially young toddlers.
She can’t only sing, but rapping is in her potential, too. Speaking of Anike and KB, they both gave her inspiration. Dejah Hector gave her inspiration to dance for the world and spread the gospel, as well as her optimistic and ridiculous spirit! After all, she always gets reports that she’s dancing too much and should stop.
“Winning season 11 was truly amazing, and with the gift that I have, I hope to see the world use that gift someday. You really don’t have to be young to have crazy goals, because in my eyes, nothing’s impossible!” She says this because it is important to know what you want to be, and just be it. Spread your wings and FLY.
